The school was founded in 1981 by Helen Leonard. It is fully registered by the Royal Academy of Dance and provides highly qualified tuition in the R.A.D. syllabus from Pre-Primary to Advanced.
Ballet classes in West Bridgford are held at St Giles' and St Paul's Church Halls and at the Nottingham Emmanuel School and also at Edwalton Church Hall.
Children are accepted into the school upwards from the age of 3 years. The Pre-school classes are designed to stimulate the children's imagination, musical awareness and general co-ordination. Whilst they are great fun, they are also excellent preparation for school.
Classes are held during the week and on Saturdays. For information about class days and times, please contact the school. That way, you can be sure that you will be attending the right level of class for your child.
The school has an excellent reputation for achieving a high standard in R.A.D. examinations.
As well as children's ballet classes, we also hold a weekly adult ballet class which is very hard working but great fun, and has a really friendly atmosphere.
